Certified according to ISO 27001 worldwide

Robust structure to ward off cyberattacks and data theft: with international-ly valid certification according to norm ISO/IEC 27001:2022, KHS provides proof of the high standard of its performance in the setup, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of its information security measures. “By issuing us with this certificate, TÜV SÜD confirms that we’ve recognized just how incredibly important this topic is and that we’re assum-ing responsibility for the same on a global scale,” says Martin Resch, head of Finance, Purchasing and IT at KHS.

Certification of KHS’ ISMS confirms that the protection of the information environment with regard to the core processes in Product Development, Sales, Order Processing and Service satisfies the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

Valid for all production sites worldwide

The Dortmund systems supplier is an international company with produc-tion sites all over the world. It was thus only logical for KHS to establish a mandatory ISMS for all of its production sites and to have this independently certified. After all, this topic is becoming more and more relevant. “Our cus-tomers expect maximum security from us,” states Resch. KHS’ ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification saves its customers considerable effort, as in many cases this renders extensive documentation of information security measures between the partners superfluous. “At KHS, this applies equally to processes and systems and to IT,” Resch continues.

The certified ISMS is part of KHS’ strategy to act as a reliable partner to its clients. This also includes regularly recurring audits by TÜV SÜD at all pro-duction facilities in the future.
