With our motto of good prospects we would like to draw your attention to the great number of new developments, both big and small, with which you can make your plant equipment and production shop even more efficient and economical. Maybe you were able to gain a first impression when you visited our booth at the BrauBeviale trade show in Nuremberg in 2015 or our in-house exhibition in Kleve this spring. By way of example, we will be introducing you to some of our options in detail in this edition and with concrete figures on energy and resource efficiency be demonstrating how great the actual benefits of these innovations really can be for you when we look at the total cost of ownership (TCO).

The desire for flexibility on the one hand is counterbalanced by the trend towards more compactness and uniformity on the other. Together with our Turkish customer Coca-Cola İçecek we have now developed and implemented a concept for customer-specific standardization. And for good reason: in just three years the fifth-largest Coca-Cola bottler worldwide has had us install eleven systems on its growth markets – five of these in Pakistan alone. We were on site in Lahore and Multan and report back in this issue.

A very different type of challenge for the KHS Service Division is posed by the high degree of individuality of our existing machines. The sheer technical variety of these requires a number of different approaches to service. The long service lives of our machinery also make great demands of the availability of spare parts. Find out how we are continuously actively improving our range of services by expanding our network of service points worldwide, for instance, and not only increasing the number of our personnel but also the quality of their expertise through further development. This section also provides an outlook on the future of our services. Our aim here is to help ensure the constant high availability of your plant engineering, enabling you to continue to produce with perfect economy.
