One such tale is the Portuguese economic miracle. In it the biggest beverage bottler in Portugal, ­Unicer –Bebidas de Portugal, and KHS build up an entire new plant in the unbelievable space of just 15 months. In this extremely short timespan the team planned and erected nine complete new filling lines. Unicer can now rely on the best filling and product quality thanks to cutting-edge KHS technology, producing more sustainably and making noticeable savings in energy, water and detergents.

Another is The American Dream, the impressive story of visionary craft brewer Dale Katechis. In 1999 he founded his Oskar Blues Brewery, placing his bets on authentic and above all individual specialty beers right from the outset. Wanting to concentrate on premium quality, he soon invested in not one but two can fillers from KHS. With this system Katechis can not only easily keep his ambitious promise of quality but also bank on further growth despite close regional ties.
